The Potenza S001 is a Bridgestone high-performance summer tire. It is fitted as original equipment on luxury sports cars, sports sedans and sports coupes. The Potenza S001 provides the ultimate sports performance along with low rolling resistance on both wet and dry surfaces. As it is a summer tire, it is not intended to be stored or driven in below-zero conditions.
The rigid extreme-grip' shoulders and wide grooves of the Potenza S001 yield exceptional traction and a great braking performance. The high-angle slants of the lug grooves deflect excess water into the main grooves of the tire, to minimize aquaplaning and aid in wet traction. Skeleton of the tire is made of double steel belts, enclosed in a spiral wrap of aramid. It enhance the quality of the ride by providing excellent cornering abilities and maneuverability. The sidewalls of the tires are fortified by active rubber inserts to increase the tire's stiffness and reduce the on-road noise.This tire pattern and size is ideal for BMW X4 and so on.
